UK Student Visa (Tier 4) Requirements


Each aspirant has to achieve 40 points in order to secure student visa. 30 points are awarded if student enrolls in a UK BA registered College or University. Minimum 2000 to 2500 UK Pounds are required to deposit to college or university in order to attain CAS ( Addmission Letter). Courses Below Level 6 require IELTS test report as evidence of English Proficiency. However, student may choose ESOL course or pre-sessional english course before commencing of their main program.

10 points are awarded if you provide bank statement of 28 days in your name. Student need to provide funds equivalent to 9 months living cost 800 UK pounds if institution in London, it mean 7200 GBP for living plus tuition fees. This whole amoun should be in student's bank account for atleast 28 years. Likwise, student need to provide bank statement of amoun 600 GBP multiply by 9 months, which means 5400 GBP if institution is outside London toward living cost plus tuition fee.

Please note that student can borrow these amount from any of his/her relatives, friend or Bank. Bank Loan facility is easily available these days and legally its allowed.

Documentation:
Each applicant must submit supporting documents as evidence with their visa application. The supporting documents can vary from applicant to applicant depending on individual circumstances. The documents required for an application under Tier 4 (General Student) are as follows:

•2 x recent, identical passport-sized photographs of yourself
•Current passport

•Any previous passports you have used to travel to and from the UK during this period of study (If applicable)

•Biometric Residence Permit (If applicable)

•Documents that evidence an official name change e.g. marriage certificate (If applicable)

•CAS number / Letter (issued by Registered College / University)

•Original certificates of qualification and/or transcript of results.

•Bank Statements - covering a period of 28 days prior to submitting your application. The account must be in your name and must clearly demonstrate the maintenance costs available to you on the date of application. Statements must be no more than one month old and must be in the correct format as specified in the Tier 4 Policy Guidance.

Please note that if any of your documents are not in English or Welsh then you must have them officially translated by a professional translator. The translations must be in a specific format.
